Alan is an award winning director who has a passion for advertising:

‘It seems that I enjoy the things that people say you should avoid - food, kids, animals and on a number of occasions have found myself directing all three at once!’

He recently wrote and directed his first feature film ‘Woken’ starring Maxine Peake (‘Black Mirror’, ‘The Theory Of Everything’) and Erin Kellyman (‘Star Wars Solo’, ‘The Green Knight’). An early career as a fine artist means he brings an evocative aesthetic to anything he turns his hand to - this can be clearly seen in his food styling - and his experience in drama filters through to his ability to capture natural performances from actors and everyday people alike.

Having worked for some of the best production companies in London he is now a freelance director for commercials and longer form.
